Bobby Aloysius
Bobby Aloysius (born 22 June 1974) was an alumnus of this School; she competes in the high jump event. During her time in Kannur sports Division, she was coached in her early years by coach Ouseph. The Kannur Sports Division was a significant part of her development as a sportsperson She held the Indian and South Asian records in high jump between 1995 and 2012 of 1.91m.[1] Bobby participated in the 2004 Athens Olympics, won silver in 2002 Busan Asian Games and won gold in the Jakarta Asian Championships.
Dhyan Chand Award (2018): She received the Dhyan Chand Award for Lifetime Achievement in Sports and Games in 2018 from the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, in recognition of her contributions to athletics during and after her career.

Asian Championships Gold Medal (2000): She won a gold medal in the women's high jump at the 2000 Asian Championships held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Asian Games Silver Medal (2002): She secured a silver medal at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea.
Other Achievements
Asian Championships Silver Medal (2002): In addition to her Asian Games silver, she also won a silver medal at the 2002 Asian Championships in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Afro-Asian Games Silver Medal (2003): She earned a silver medal at the 2003 Afro-Asian Games held in Hyderabad, India.
Asian Indoor Championships Silver Medal (2004): She also won a silver medal at the 2004 Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran, Iran.
National Record: Bobby Aloysius set a national record of 1.91m in women's high jump during the Olympic qualifications in Chennai in 2004, a record that stood for eight years.
