Vision 2031

The comprehensive development of sports is one of the key priorities of the LDF Government of Kerala. Guided by the inclusive vision of “Sports for All,” the state has been taking decisive steps towards building a vibrant and sustainable sports ecosystem. Major initiatives such as infrastructure development worth ₹3,500 crore, the One Panchayat–One Playground programme, international sports collaborations, sports summits, sports leagues, and scientifically designed training and coaching systems stand as clear milestones of this progressive journey.

As Kerala moves into the next phase of sports development, there is a strong need to formulate a clear, future-oriented vision that aligns with emerging global trends and opportunities. It is with this objective that the Vision 2031 Seminar is being organized.

The seminar aims to engage all stakeholders across the sports sector, explore new-age possibilities, and chart a well-defined roadmap for the future. By addressing every dimension of sports development—grassroots participation, excellence in performance, sports science, infrastructure, governance, and international cooperation—the Vision 2031 initiative seeks to conceptualize and shape a dynamic, inclusive, and globally competitive Sports Kerala of the future.
